It Just Doesn’t Work for Me

I think that extroversion is the standard in our culture and quite often introverts are expected to adapt accordingly. Even if I’m asked to act like an extrovert, I will always be an introvert, because that’s just the way I’m wired, the way I was created. For the record, I love and care about people deeply, but forced connecting, small talk, large groups of people wear me out. It just doesn’t work for me.

This cartoon was inspired by something my Twitter friend @throughlaurels said to me. She’s an awesome INFJ, who loves and cares about people deeply too.
