This is me, too! I’m laughing so hard. I cringe, as if I can narrow myself down into a few small words, IF I even feel like speaking. LOL Thanks for smiles… and the understanding. 🙂
Wow, this is so me! I’m in grad school and have had the same classmates for a whole year, yet I STILL have to introduce myself to them when we get into a new class. I complain about this all the time to my boyfriend. “Hi, I’m Manda. Now let me reiterate the same 5 dumbass facts I’ve told you guys 8 times already…” It doesn’t help that I have terrible public speaking anxiety.
I really thought i was the only one who felt this way. I have avoided some situations so i don’t have to go through this. Not to mention how terrible i am at staff meetings! A very comforting sketch for me.
Staff meetings. That might be another cartoon altogether. Never been big on them, but mostly because they’ve been run so inefficiently in my personal experience. Anyways, I’m glad that you know that you’re not alone!
My experience is that they are not facilitated well to include people. They just end up being ‘open forums’, with big personalities doing most of the talking. Very difficult for the INFJ, for me anyways.

Don’t we all!!!
The tenants of my apartment thought it would have been a good idea to get to know each other… and I had to sit in literally a circle of strangers and “talk” … Naturally i just stared and smiled when necessary 😀 LOL
Hi Joe!
Great cartoons! Very clever, original and easy to relate to. Do you also illustrate hsp spec.?
Working on a hsp project and we’re looking for a cartoonist to illustrate our hopefully-book-to-be ab. hsp.
Cheers,
Maya (fellow INFJ)

Hi Maya! Glad you like the cartoons. I think I’ve done only one or two HSP cartoons. Right now, I am so busy working on my own book. Hope you are well. 🙂
I am so guilty of doing this as a facilitator….ugh

Yeah, it’s tricky. Depends on the situation. Sometimes an easy silly but specific question is a good ice breaker like “What’s your favorite dessert?”
