This happened a lot with my programming students. I would make them explain their issue to me and while they were explaining it most of the time they would figure out the problem. It’s a technique called “rubber duck debugging”. Totally not joking about the name. It’s worth a Google search.
Because of that I would always tell people that I was a rubber duck and that I was The One. XD
