I’ve been forgetting a lot of things lately. Not abstract things, but objects: my wallet, my water bottle, my phone, etc. I think it’s because whenever I immerse myself in creative activities (I have several going on right now), I get mentally lost in them. I’m not always fully present in the material world.

Maybe it’a also spring effect – I work with people around Europe and I see same trend no matter if they are in Russia, Holland or Spain.
Anyway I’m a bit relieved to see this post – because I’m myself sometimes strangely forgetful – but I guess it’s not a premature memory loss

I refuse to believe it’s old age starting to set in. 😊

Since I’ve been doing this all my life…I don’t believe it has anything to do with “old age.” And, as you say, very much to do with the creative process. Mundane, everyday things cease to exist when one is in creative mode. 🙂
